NetRadio.com Moves Fifty Channels To Windows Media Format
NetRadio.com (http://www.netradio.com) announced that fifty online music channels have been encoded in the Microsoft Windows Media Format. It has already converted nearly half of their 120 stations to the Windows Media format.
The stations will be offered on NetRadio.com and WindowsMedia.com.
"We've converted 50 of our most popular channels into the Windows Media Format over the past several weeks, and we've been quite impressed," said Ed Tomechko, President and CEO of NetRadio.com. "We've rapidly gained tens of thousands listeners exploring our Windows Media-formatted channels."
NetRadio.com says they also like the stability of Windows Media. "This kind of reliability makes it much easier to focus on the business of providing high-quality music to our listeners," said Richard Hailey, Chief Technology Officer at NetRadio.com.
